Very nice experience there. Budget hotel, terrific for rest. Also nearby a subway station. Enjoyable and incredible breakfast with the wifi decent, very fresh food plus strong coffee, perfect location...

The room at Argentina Hotel was cozy and comfortable, with a TV and mini bar. I loved the air conditioning, which kept me cool in the Rio heat. The free WiFi was a bonus!
Personally, I found the desk in the room unnecessary.

The convenient location and the breakfast.
The beds were very "cheap" - not well made. We had to request to have them put together in the "matrimonial" setting, which was done. However, that is not comfortable. Also, the wood frame in my bed was poorly made and made creaking, squeaking noises when I rolled over. I complained and asked that it be fixed, but that was not done. The beds make the room and the hotel experience worse than it should be. Finally, the air conditioning is unfortunate, positioned directly above the bed and difficult to situate on a "perfect" setting that does not "freeze" the guest or make it too warm. If not for these problems, we would give this hotel a high rating. We nearly asked for a discount on the rate, but the staff was friendly so we decided not.

Very clean, safe and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A bargain for the money. I would stay at this hotel again.
Small room and high shower, I could not reach the shower head..

I recently stayed at a hotel in Rio for a few nights on a family trip. The staff was incredibly helpful and assisted us in planning our daily activities. The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to bus and metro transportation options. The breakfast provided was pretty good, with a decent variety of options. it was great value for the price we paid.
Despite some minor inconveniences, such as the staff turning off the heat and not refilling the food towards the end of breakfast, I would still be happy to recommend this hotel.

We had a blast exploring Rio with our friends. We even got to catch a game at Maracana Stadium, which was insane! The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the beach and tons of cool bars and restaurants. The staff was super cool and made our stay even better.
The only thing we wished for was a better party scene at the hotel. It would have been awesome if they had a rooftop bar or some kind of gathering spot for young people to hang out and have fun.

Great Time, Beautiful Surroundings
I had the most incredible time at this traditional hotel set in the 1930s in Flamengo. The rooms were comfortable, and I particularly loved the air conditioning which kept me cool even during the peak heat. The hotel's proximity to the Flamengo Subway and Christ the Redeemer made exploring the city a breeze. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the stunning surroundings. The sprawling Flamengo Park with its picnic spots, open-air concerts, and jogging paths along the beachfront felt like a tropical paradise. It was like living in a postcard!
